Where do we deliver to?

We are based in the Midlands, but we are happy to deliver wedding and celebration cakes across England and will consider other destinations.Our cakes are transported by our own delivery drivers, as many have fragile elements, and can’t be posted/couriered.

Delivery charges are not included in our cake prices because we deliver over such a wide area. Our charges are based on distance and time, as some routes are more congested and other venues have to be accessed slowly due to bumpy lanes!

Delivery Costs

Our minimum delivery charge for local wedding cake deliveries is £25, reflecting the time for delivery, set-up of the cake at your wedding venue, and briefing venue staff. Charges increase with distance, rising to around £50 at a 50-mile radius…. but we will go further afield!

What’s included?

Wedding Cake deliveries are arranged by us with your venue, usually for the day of your wedding. (Sometimes the night before for longer distance deliveries).

Our cakes are usually delivered fully assembled and decorated unless otherwise agreed with you. Where possible, we deliver and set up the cake on the cake table at your venue or in a fridge if previously arranged. We also provide a full list of ingredients, allergens, and instructions on storage and disassembling the cake for your venue.

Set up of cupcake towers adds an additional fee of £15 if required, as it takes our team members around an hour to construct the stand and set up the cakes.

Cake stand rental may be available on request.

We can supply cake boxes or bags if required (at an additional cost).

Collections of Cakes & Taster Boxes

If you wish to collect your cake or taster box from us, our address is: Bay Tree Cakes, 33 Station Rd, Lutterworth, Leicestershire LE17 4AP.

Please ensure that you confirm a collection time with us when booking your cake so that we can make sure someone is onsite.

Postal Taster Boxes& Cakes:

Taster boxes are posted out to you by guaranteed next-day delivery. We post Mon-Thursday, to arrive the day after posting. We do not post out on Fridays, to avoid any postal delays that may lead to your tasters/cake spending the weekend in a postal depot! The taster box is £15, plus £9 p&p.

Deliveries& Collections- General Information

We require a contact number for all collections and deliveries (which often helps us find your delivery location). If you do not provide your telephone contact details, we reserve the right to cancel the order.

If you do not arrive at the scheduled collection time, or if no one is present to receive your cake/taster box delivery at the agreed time and location, we cannot guarantee a second collection/delivery time slot. For missed cake deliveries (excluding postal orders) our delivery driver is instructed to return the cake to our kitchens, subsequent re-deliveries will be charged for(in advance) and are subject to availability. Otherwise, collection may be available.
